My husband invented this cocktail a number of years ago. The beet juice provides a ruby red color that goes well with the season. He likes to garnish it with an olive to add a pop of green to go with the red!
Put martini glasses in the freezer.
Put all the liquid ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice.
Remove glasses from freezer.
Place either a green olive (for Christmasy contrast) or a pickled beet (for more sweetness) in each glass.
Pour the shaken cocktail into the glasses.
