Hakone

Hakone is a small town southwest of Tokyo known for its amazing hot springs (called onsens) and traditional Japanese hotels (ryokans). It’s also the mid-way point of the famous Tokyo-Hakone race, a two-day marathon relay.

ようこそ Yokoso,

Hakone is an amazing getaway from the busyness of Tokyo, just over an hour away by train. It has many ryokans, which are traditional Japanese inns that feature public and private hot springs and delicious multi-course meals. A stay in Hakone is not just relaxing, but memorable.
