London

London is the capital of the UK, its largest city and a vibrant cultural centre with lots to see and do, including palaces, museums, parks, shopping, theatre and food.

Hello,

I lived in England for five years and always loved going to London. It’s one of the biggest and most famous cities in the world, and there’s so much to do and see.

Recommendations from Mike

Stay

  • I would recommend staying outside of London. Canterbury is much cheaper and only a 60-minute train ride to the city. With the money you save, you could fly to Scotland for a few days!

Eat

  • Kebab or fish and chips – not fancy but so good!

Drink

  • Anywhere they serves John Smith’s Extra Smooth ale.

Explore

  • See the sights like Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, Parliament, London Eye, Tower of London … and on and on.
