Wailea
Wailea is a resort community on Maui, the second largest of Hawaii’s islands. Its known for its crescent-shaped beaches and golf courses.

Maui has incredible views, lots of great food close by, and I love the sound of waves at night. It’s especially nice to be able to walk on the beach every morning when it’s –30 C or lower back home.

Stay
- Some of the condos in Wailea can be rented from the owners for extended periods of time. The one we stayed at was a 5-minute walk from the beach, and a 15-minute walk from various restaurants and shopping.
Eat
- Pizza is usually quite good, especially Hawaiian of course.
Explore
- The water is clear and warm, so swimming is a must.
