This recipe is both very boozy, ridiculously tasty and satisfying AND full of Christmas flavours. I actually drank one during our Habanero Christmas party last year and I’m looking forward to making it again this Christmas season.
Ingredients
- 1½ ounces Booker’s or other high-proof bourbon
- 1 ounce Torres brandy (an easy-to-find dark brandy with spices that work really well this drink)
- ½ ounce Goslings rum (a dark rum, also easy to find, with Christmassy flavours)
- ¾ ounce simple syrup
- ¾ ounce heavy cream
- 1 whole egg
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters (you can find these in grocery stores)
- Sprinkle of nutmeg
Instructions
Step 1
Add all ingredients except the nutmeg into a cocktail shaker.
Step 2
Shake vigorously.
Step 3
Strain into a double rocks glass.
Step 4
Sprinkle nutmeg on top.
