Açai bowls are super popular among students in São Paulo, the city where I was born. It is a recipe that always reminds me of the good moments and trips with my friends from university. By the way, the December holidays happen during summer in Brazil. Enjoying an açai bowl is one of the best things you can do on a beach at 38 °C.

Brazilian Açai Breakfast Bowl

Ingredients

  • 7 ounces Açai Roots frozen açai pulp
  • 4 frozen strawberries
  • 1 fresh banana
  • 4 ounces juice of your choice (orange juice or apple juice are great)
  • 1 tablespoon sweetener of your choice (agave syrup or honey are great)
  • 2 tablespoons quick-cooking or old-fashioned oats

Instructions

Step 1

Place all the ingredients in a blender and blend on high until desired consistency is reached.

Step 2

Place contents into a bowl and top with granola, sliced bananas and strawberries (or your preferred fruits) to maximize your experience.

Step 3

Enjoy!
