Outer Banks is so impressive – there’s so much to do in a relatively small area. You can learn how the Wright brothers learned to fly in Kitty Hawk, fly kites or learn to hang glide in the sand dunes at Jockey’s Ridge State Park. Bring your own 4WD vehicle, or go on a 4WD tour along the beach to see and learn about the Corolla wild horses. Then take the family out for some mini-golf, go karts, laser tag and more. There are plenty of restaurants in the area (Bad Bean Baja Grill was a fav of mine). At night, look up and see countless stars while listening to the waves from the ocean.
